ROSLYN BOOSTER BASKETBALL CLUB LENNY PUGATCH AWARD

 

Len Pugatch grew up in Roslyn and played Booster Basketball. He graduated from Roslyn High School in 1969 and played Varsity sports in High School and College. Len began coaching as a senior in high school and eventually became President of Roslyn Booster Basketball from 1994 until 2002. Without Len, the enormous growth and popularity enjoyed by the Booster Basketball program could not have occurred.

Len was not someone who simply participated. He was an example of someone who took an active and leading role in the program to which he had committed himself. This award is given to an athlete who has demonstrated peer leadership, with extensive athletic participation.
