The Stuart Silpe Memorial Scholarship Award

THE STUART SILPE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

 

This scholarship is given by the Silpe family in honor of Stuart Silpe, who graduated from Roslyn High School in 1975. Stuart played center on the basketball team, was co-captain his junior and senior years and a part of the North Shore Champion Team in 1974. He went on to Emory University and the Wharton School of Business and worked for several investment banks during his career. He was a beloved son, brother, husband and father. Stuart passed away in August 2005 playing the game that he dearly loved. The recipient of this award exemplifies Stuart’s big heart, sense of humor, love of family, and dedication to sport.
